For the 28th consecutive year the Lancelin Ocean Classic is back in the cray fishing town of Lancelin with hundreds of competitors and spectators flocking in from 10th – 13th January 2013 for the biggest and longest running windsurfing event in Australia.
Peter Volwater has finished 2nd in in the Ocean Classic Marathon from Ledge Point to Lancelin with in strong wind conditions - well done! 1st Steve Allen and 3rd Björn Dunkerbeck.
In the Waves Ben Severne beat Peter Volwater in the semi final and went onto face Ben Proffitt in the final. It was a very close heat, but Ben Severne took home the Macquire trophy.
In the Ladies Waves Fanatic´s world class freestyler and wavesailor Laure Treboux, who spends most of the winter in Australia, finished 2nd behind Karin Jaggi - also well done to Laure!
